By accessing, registering for, or using YOG Union (via the website, mobile applications, or connected APIs), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old or possess legal parental/guardian consent to enter into this agreement and book sessions.
2. User Generated Content (UGC), Safety & Moderation
YOG Union is a consecrated space of practice, learning, and mindful connection. We maintain strict safety and community guidelines across all communications, class interactions, posts, reviews, and teacher profiles:
Zero-Tolerance Policy on Objectionable Content
Harassment, stalking, intimidation, hate speech, defamatory language, sexually explicit or pornographic imagery, depictions of violence, commercial spam, and deceptive or fraudulent claims are strictly prohibited.
- In-App Reporting & Blocking: Seekers and teachers can immediately block disruptive users and submit flagged reports on profiles, messages, or live class conduct.
- 24-Hour Enforcement SLA: All reported content is reviewed by our safety moderation team. Verified violations result in immediate removal of content and a permanent ban of the offending account within 24 hours.
3. Booking, Payment Verification & Refund Policy
To keep our ecosystem accessible and minimize predatory merchant deductions, YOG Union operates on direct UPI verification and clear cancellation tiers:
A. UPI Payment Verification & Hold Windows
When selecting a class slot, the seat is held exclusively for you for 10 minutes while you complete your UPI transfer. After paying, you submit your transaction reference (txnRef / UTR). Automated verification or operations checks confirm your payment within the 120-minute claim TTL. Unclaimed or invalid payment attempts automatically release the reserved slot.

4. Technical Security, Live Video & Platform Integrity
To safeguard both seekers and teachers, our architecture enforces technical security standards:
- Live Class Video Security (Daily.co): Video studio room access tokens are ephemeral (short-lived, non-reusable) and minted only for authenticated participants with a confirmed booking (
status === 'confirmed'). Unauthorized recording, screencasting, or redistributing live video sessions is strictly forbidden and grounds for immediate termination. - Strict Data Access & Row Level Security: Direct messaging and private consultations are locked via Row Level Security (RLS) so that only the seeker and their assigned teacher can view session notes or exchanged communication.
- Payment Claims Hardening: All UPI claim submissions are strictly rate-limited and audit-logged to prevent UTR brute-forcing and abuse.
5. Intellectual Property & Sacred Traditions
All brand marks, emblems, visual systems, and platform software are the intellectual property of YOG Union. Course materials, video lectures, and instructions created by independent teachers remain their intellectual property, licensed to YOG Union for the duration of the offering.
6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
